WHY THEY ARE SAYING TO BOYCOTT COCA COLA?

Date: 10 June 2024

The owner of the Coca Cola company is Berkshire Hathaway. As of 2024, Berkshire Hathaway is the largest among the top 10 shareholders on the Coca Cola company having the maximum 9.3% share in total.

Berkshire Hathaway is an American multinational conglomerate holding company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The owner & the CEO of the Berkshire Hathaway company is Mr. Warren Buffet since 1970 till today.

Also, Berkshire Hathaway is the major shareholder & investor of Teva Pharmaceuticals & Iscar Ltd. Company.

ISCAR Ltd. is an Israeli multinational metal cutting tools company affiliated with one of the world's largest metalworking conglomerates, the IMC Group (International Metalworking Companies). ISCAR and the IMC Group were acquired by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway in 2006, becoming one of its largest non-insurance companies. It is one of the largest suppliers of the military weapons in the world.

Teva Pharmaceuticals is a 123 years old Tel-Aviv based Israeli multinational pharmaceutical company.

Mr. Buffet is the owner of Israeli company of machine tools, Iscar Ltd. & the highest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway company is Berkshire Partners which has 24B$ assets & investments of Israeli businessmen. Berkshire Partners are prestigious ownership stakeholders of the companies like JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Barclays Capital, Bank of America Meriyll Lynch, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank, UBS Ag, Goldman Sachs, etc.

The Wertheimers were already one of Israel's wealthiest families before Buffett's investing company, Berkshire Hathaway, bought 80 percent of Iscar in a deal announced May 5 2006. The Wertheimer family retains the remaining 20 percent of the company, with Eitan remaining as chairman. Stef Wertheimer, 79, is now the company's honorary chairman.

For the sake of the trade restrictions of Israel in many countries in the world, mostly all of the renowned companies of Israel have invested under US companies and enlisted in NYSE & NASDAQ and turned into an American company. So, it is obvious that Coca Cola stands on the funds of Israeli Investors’ money mostly.

Now let’s find what is the source of the military expenditures and budget of Israel.

Israel's military spending—the second largest in the region after Saudi Arabia—grew by 24 per cent to reach $27.5 billion in 2023. Also, Israel has one of the world’s most powerful militaries, bolstered by more than $3.8bn of military aid a year from the US.

One third of the total weapons produced by Israel (1.2B US$) has been imported by our neighbor country, India. Relations between Israel and India have blossomed since Indian Prime Minister Narendra came to power in 2014.

The second-largest buyer of Israeli weapons was Azerbaijan ($295m), followed by the Philippines ($275m), the US ($217m) and Vietnam ($180m). But it shows that in the period between 2018-2022, Israel imported weapons totaling $2.7bn from only two countries, the US and Germany whereas they have imported 2.1Bn US$ from US only.

Hence, it is the common sense for any person to understand the sources as well as the source of the fund of the military arms & weapons of Israel which has been used for decades till today in Palestine to martyr Muslims and innocent women & babies. So, Coca Cola Company in Bangladesh is also involving in another illegal activities by hiding the truth & facts and assuming that the Bangladeshis are uneducated fools. I provide all the references in below in favor of the above statements which is available over Google, not very difficult to find. Now, the decision is yours only.

MVNO Prospects in Bangladesh

Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) have its remarkable grip in the international mobile telecommunication industry and now it’s emerging and become business point of attraction within Asia. Though the term MVNO is not defined very well but as per our study over industry definition of MVNO and its’ business operations, we can determine the basic of identity of MVNO as they are basically resellers of mobile related services without owning any network infrastructure. MVNOs purchase airtime at wholesale rates from Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and then resell wireless subscriptions to consumers through its own branding and other value added services. On the scale of its interconnection and service engagement with MNOs, MVNOs can be categorized basically in three (03) categories e.g. Full MVNO, enhanced service provider & reseller.

Another entity arises in between the MVNOs & MNOs named Mobile Virtual Network Enablers (MVNEs) which are specializing in supporting the network-operator-side for the MVNOs. MVNEs facilitate the services of MVNOs by providing them mission-critical support/services e.g. co-location, IT operations, maintenance, SLA management, disaster recovery, 24x7 help desk, etc. MVNEs play important role for the prompt roll out of MVNO services and ensure its quality. On the other hand, as the number of MVNO players increase, so do the risks involved.

As estimated by analysts, it takes on average, USD 25 million to USD 50 million and almost two years to launch a MVNO1. In some countries, MNOs have diversified into the MVNE service business which is getting popular day-by-day.

Inter-connectivity & relationship between MNOs & MVNOs are the keys of success in MVNO business. An MVNO type could be defined according to the elements it controls in the mobile services’ value chain. A possible business engagement model according to the ownership of the mobile services’ value chain is described below:

8 Things Real Leaders Do

8 Things Real Leaders Do to Communicate More Effectively

by Carina Wytiaz on Nov 4, 2013

1. Leaders listen

Instead of waiting to speak, leaders truly listen to what their employee is saying.

In order to communicate directives which will drive results, you have to really hear your employees. Leaders respond to questions, address concerns, and above all, listen with empathy.

2. Leaders organize their thoughts

The easiest way to lose your employee’s attention is to present a disorganized argument with a curtailed thought process.

If you’re in an informal, idea-generating meeting, by all means engage in that process. However, if you’re trying to communicate direction to your people, spend a few minutes organizing what you want to deliver to make sure the message is clear.

3. Leaders understand their limitations

If you’re not a capable writer but you’re a great speaker, then speak more often. Use your strengths when you’re choosing your communication method.

Chances are you have employees who are excellent writers, can design killer presentations, or know how to speak to the press. Leaders aren’t afraid to partner with people who can make them better at communicating on any platform.

Know where your communication limitations are and leverage the competent people you already have.

4. Leaders involve the right people

As fast-paced as your workplace can get, and as scattershot as communications can be, good leaders make a point of bringing in the right people for all efforts.

Involving stakeholders from the start means reducing duplicate communications and cutting down on the “telephone” effect. You’ll be able to solve unforeseen problems quicker, keep your team on target, and limit frustrations by making sure the right people are on the line from the start.

5. Leaders convey a narrative

Conveying a narrative is one aspect that sets leaders apart from managers.

Your employees crave knowing they belong to a whole greater than themselves. They want to understand their work means something.

By contextualizing their work, your direction, and the evolving progression of the company, you’re creating a communication that will inspire employees to do their best.

6. Leaders use all communication platforms

In this era of remote working, off-site teams, cross-continental groups, and flex time, leaders use all available communication platforms to keep in touch with their human capital.

Informal discussions, Twitter streams, Facebook groups, company email, are just among the myriad of possible contact methods a leader can use.

Don’t limit yourself to one platform. Anything you need to communicate should go out through multiple streams to make sure you’re reaching everyone who needs to hear your message.

7. Leaders communicate appropriately

At its best, appropriate communication is inclusive, informative, and motivational.

Although you have many platforms at your disposal, you need to make sure there are lines, both professional and personal, that you observe. When in doubt, involve your HR team to review missives before they’re dispatched.

8. Leaders use communication for more than information

While mass communication to convey data, direction, and goals is always important, leaders understand communication without connection is dead.

Your communication goal should be to convey your thanks for work well done and recognize employees who have demonstrated extraordinary efforts.

You’re connecting with people. Make that connection about building your employees up, driving them forward, and they’ll reward you with invested productivity.
